CDK Global has recently (March 22, 2018) launched the Fortellis Automotive Commerce Exchange platform (fortellis.io) that invites global developers to consume and publish APIs in order to drive technology forward and create great experiences for automotive dealerships, car brands, and consumers. Rajiv Amar is the architect behind Fortellis and will speak about how it was built from the ground up, what problems it solves, and how it has evolved rapidly in an industry desperate for integration of innovative technologies. He will present exciting use cases that have emerged by taking down barriers to entry into the exciting world of automotive commerce. Members of Rajiv's team could also be available for hands-on demonstrations, break-out sessions for those interested in learning more about the latest innovations in this industry, and case study reviews of progress made through the Fortellis platform. Equifax has been the first to publish their APIs on the Fortellis platform, and SiruisXM was one of the first major brands to state their commitment to innovating on the platform, opening the door to connected car technology being available in new and different ways through CDK Global's dealership software. We expect that API world attendees will be excited to hear about developments on the Fortellis platform since its March launch.
