For 10 years, GitHub has been a central place for developers to build and collaborate on software. As software development becomes more efficient and sophisticated, so too does GitHub’s platform. To match the demands of the developer community, GitHub reinvisioned its platform to give developers a more streamlined and powerful experience. In this talk, Director of Ecosystem Engineering, Kyle Daigle, will break down how his team rebuilt the GitHub platform to become more powerful and open than it was before. He’ll also highlight how developers can leverage GitHub’s GraphQL and Checks API’s to automate and customize their workflows, and how GitHub Apps, Marketplace and other platform tools can help developers collaborate more effectively.
